Position Technical Consultant- Enterprise Computing ASAPFunctional Organization CPS –Consulting &Professional Services (IT IS)
Role
(Specific tasks and the role that the person will undertake)
• Deliver Enterprise infrastructure solution as part of the PS organization to End customers.
• Technical design authority for the infrastructure solution within a project.
• Provide technology consulting for a wide spectrum of Enterprise infrastructure technologies viz. Server platform (Enterprise &Mid-Range), Clustering, SAN, UNIX OS, Virtualization etc.
• Lead the technical engagement that includes client relationship, inter-working with Project Management and Account teams.
• Support the account team as Pre-sales Consultant for new business /bids and proposal as part of the CPS organization.
Desirable
Job-related /Experience
• Hands on experience in Design and implementation of infrastructure solutions.
• Good level of expertise in delivering solutions around at least 2-3 areas mentioned under desirable.
• Worked directly in Pre-sales mode preparing proposals, Solution Architecture documents, Value propositions etc.
• Involved in writing Scoping and SOW documents for large engagements
• Delivered Consulting projects as a Technology consultant across different industry. DC technologies viz. RISC /UNIX platform, Lintel (Linux /X86) High Availability, BCP /DR, Storage etc.

Educational Qualification
(Basic educational background that the candidate should possess)
• B.Tech, B.E. Diploma in any Engineering discipline.
Tests, Certification
(certification they have obtained)
• Industry certification from various vendors viz.
Sun, IBM, EMC or Microsoft would be preferred.
• Foundation ITIL certified preferred
• Any other Project Management certification PMI /PMP.
