Associate Scientist - Cell Biology wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your experience/skills:
  • University degree in biology or biochemistry or equivalent education with a strong background in cell biology
  • 3+ years' practical experience with virus titration assays, qPCR, FACS, cell-based assays and immunological assays
  • Knowledge of BL-2 products and a strong molecular biology profile are desirable
  • Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus


Your tasks:
  • Working in a bioanalytical group within biologics technical development
  • Analysing and characterising cell and gene therapy products in early phase clinical development
  • Developing and executing methods independently for the determination of biological activity and purity
  • Evaluating and documenting data including various cell culture methods and read out technologies such as virus titration assays, qPCR, FACS, other cell-based assays and ELISA
  • Managing the technical organisation of the laboratory and reporting to the laboratory head
