Data Analyst - Meta Data / Data Modelling - this is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst / Business Analyst for a global financial service company.Your experience/skills:
- Good command of the business and technical basis of information-management including meta data management, relational databases, data modelling and data dictionaries
- Professionalism in database design such as conceptual, data migration activities and logical and physical data modelling
- Work experience in the financial services sector or in a comparable domain coupled with know-how of agile project methodology
- Excellent communication- and organisation skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Implementing data dictionary requirement analysis including UI functionality and workflow capabilities coupled with defining the solution and framework including the meta data governance framework
- Developing business meta-data governance processes, data dictionary principles and data quality standards as well as a designing data model
- Delivering and providing migration service to on-board other data dictionaries from various business units on to existing data dictionary
- Cooperating with business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to comprehend their problems and needs along with producing structured and manageable representation of analysis results and presenting them to stakeholders on all levels
- Transferring business user concepts and ideas into comprehensive business requirements and design documents
Only candidates must living within a daily commutable distance to Zurich will be considered.
