Senior Test Engineer

Role: Senior Test Engineer
This individual will work with business analysts, software developers, and quality assurance to automate end-to-end system testing of enterprise Java applications with interfaces to multiple external systems.
Responsibilities:
o Define test cases for verifying end-to-end functionality of the system
o Develop a configurable test harness that enables automated end-to-end system testing
o Develop scripts for configuring files, databases, and FTP servers with consistent test data
o Report and submit product defects in the bug tracking system
o Create new knowledgebase articles and keep them up-to-date
Qualifications:
o Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field of studies
o Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
o 3+ years industry experience in system testing or related disciplines
o 1+ years of industry experience in scripting languages (e.g., bash, Perl, DOS, etc.)
o 1+ years of industry experience in Java development
o Familiarity with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
o Familiarity with WebLogic Server administration and configuration
o Familiarity with basic system and network administration on UNIX and Windows (FTP, SSH, etc.)

Proposed start date as soon as possible, duration minimally 6 Months (but probably with extension).
