Junior Data Analysis Expert

For one of our client, specialized in the pharmaceutical area with HQ in Basel, we are looking for a Junior Data Analyst Expert with experience in Big data and data visualization.
This is a challenging contracting position starting in August until the end of December 2019.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- You will be analysing large amounts sensor data collected from smartphones and other wearables in clinical trials to discover digital biomarkers required to assess drug efficacy.
Requirements:
- University degree in mathematics, statistics, natural science or informatics
- 3+ years of experience with analysing big data sets, data visualization
- Experience with software development and big data infrastructures
- Experience with analysing biomechanical and sensor data desirable
- Profound knowledge in Python, R, Matlab or similar software packages/languages
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Fluent in English, German is an asset
- Experience with analysing audio, sleep or heart rate/PPG data would be highly preferred
- Previous working experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with clinical studies
