Design Transfer Engineer (m/f)Are you an experienced Design Transfer Engineer (m/f) looking for a new project? Our client, a renown medical device company with locations and laboratories in different continents, offers an interesting and exciting opportunity as Design Transfer Engineer (m/f).
You should be willing to support the product development team in the design transfer of new products/technologies in production environment. As a main task, you will decide what is acceptable from a Quality Management perspective.
Your role as Design Transfer Engineer (m/f)
- Advise Product Development team in different projects regarding Design Transfer
- Act as quality management representative / decision maker in development projects and ensure a compliant execution
- Ensure that Design Transfer is performed regarding Quality Management System (QMS) regulation
- Approve and Review of Engineering Change Orders
- Ensure that Design Risk Management process is followed standards
- Participation in Design Review meetings
Required skills
- At least 7 years of experience in the medical device industry (preferably R&D or Quality Management)
- Higher education (preferably engineering or science)
- Strong in discussion
- Capable of working cross-functionally
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, ISO 14971
