For a project at our client ‘s site, an international insurance based in Zurich, we are looking for aSenior Project Manager - General Ledger Consolidation (5553)
For this position we are looking for an experience Senior Project Manager and Country Rollout Workstream Lead to manage and coordinate the country reportings of several dozens country organizations to derive a standardized local solution for IFRS 17.
In this role the ideal candidate will ensure local implementation plans and project activities be aligned in terms of content and project schedule with the project plan of the System Implementation project team. Further, he or she will manage and perform reviews of local and core business blueprints and related design documents, plus ensure smooth system alignment.
Your Qualifications:
• Several years’ experience as Project Manager and/or System Consolidation Specialist with previous experience in a similar position - either multinational or multiregional (projects must be clearly visible on CV)
• Some experience in Shared Services environments
• Good technical knowledge of SAP systems with potential SAP qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Finance processes and how to implement them into SAP
• Strong background in areas of consolidation, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, multi-currency consolidations, financial and regulatory reporting
• Knowledge of IFRS 17 would be of advantage
• Experience in insurance or financial services would be preferred
• Ability to understand issues, demonstrate resourcefulness and pro-actively resolve problems and manage projects in a timely manner
• Ability to present to Senior Management and C Level representatives
• Fluent in English, German would be of advantage
