Job description
I have a fantastic long-term contract opportunity for a freelance BI Consultant with a specialist in SAS with an immediate start. Join a restructured BI team as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the SAS related topics and developments.
Main Tasks:
- Datamodelling and data handling in SAS
- SME for SAS development
- Management of SAS application as part of newly structured BI team
- Assist in development and projects associated with the application and in line with the wider Management Information landscape
- Liaise with ETL specialists on the effective integration of SAS and related applications
- Ensuring data of high quality
- Reporting - create reports and dashboards
- End-user support and training
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders and partners
Candidate Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience of working within the Analytics and MIS space
- Very good understanding data and data concepts
- Demonstrable experience of leading 'As Is' and 'To Be' BI strategy
- Experience of supply chain
- Strong communication and leadership skills - effective stakeholder management
- Experience in data cleansing
- SPSS experience is a plus
- Excel/VBA skills are a plus
- Python and data science skills are a significant advantage
- Must hold an EU passport or right to work in Switzerland
- Must speak fluent English
