Medical Device Packaging Technical Expert wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical industry.Your experience/skills:
- Science based University degree
- Solid experience with drug development and the interaction of drug formulation with primary packaging (glass and polymer syringes, needle metals, glue leachables, silicone interaction, tungsten interaction with drug).
- Sterile primary packaging experience or experience in the interface with drug development and primary packaging development required.
- Expertise with the interactions between drug product and primary packaging materials is important.
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Coordinating primary packaging development activities with the project team members for assigned projects
- Developing primary packaging concepts to support early phase development
- Managing feasibility assessments on new technology and packaging concepts
- Upholding knowledge in the areas of materials and manufacturing
- Conducting design for manufacture assessments as well as the tolerance stack analyses
