A global Swiss bank is looking for an IT System Engineer to join the 3rd Level Global Hosted Service (GHS) Operations Team. The team is responsible for infrastructure build projects and 3rd Level Operations Support of the global GHS platforms which include all the technologies within remote connectivity and remote desktop services.Workload: 100%

Tasks:
• Proactively respond and provide support to escalations from 1st and 2nd Level Support Teams.
• Troubleshoot user issues in the Citrix Environment.
• Propose and implement systems enhancements.
• Monitor usage and performance, and troubleshoot server, software and hardware issues.
• Plan, evaluate, migrate, develop, implement, configure, test and roll out systems (hardware or software, networks, controls).
• Analyze outages and defective states, initiating and monitoring measures to remedy them.
Requirements:
• Experience working with products supporting/building Citrix XenApp in a large-scale distributed environment (preferably in the finance industry) with a strong bias towards automated deployment and operations.
• Experience in Level 3 Troubleshooting.
• Technology experience in multiple infrastructure technologies such as Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop, Citrix PVS, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Netscaler, AppSense, VMware vSphere, VMware vRops, VMware AppVolumes.
• Hands-on experience with application deployment via SCCM, AppSense, AppV, AppVolumes technologies.
• PowerShell scripting skills or experience coding for automation.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and procedures.
• Ability to work outside business hours in a 24x5 shift, including some weekends, and be available for on-call duties.
