For one of our customers, a well known pharmaceutical company, we are urgently looking for an experienced:ANALYST PROGRAMMER (SHARE POINT)
Starting: asap
3-6 months contract
Job description:
• Work with business representatives to understand their requirements in terms of team collaboration
• Define & present options to the business representatives for implementing these requirements
• Implement requirements using a variety of approaches as appropriate o Standard SharePoint functionality o 3rd-party products: Nintex, Quest, Lightning, Telerik, Kwizcom, Bamboo … o Customizations to extend & augment the SharePoint platform
• Liaise with SharePoint support resources to assist them in resolving support cases that require in-depth SharePoint skills e.g. development skills/SharePoint Designer
• Be a key contributor to the NITAS SharePoint team, build and test requested changes, assist in proof of concept examples and build templates that can be leveraged across the organization
• Write project related documentation such as requirements documentation, user manual …
Required skills:
• Must have excellent communication skills & ability to describe technical concepts to non-technical people
• Ability to articulate and know when to use out-of-the-box SharePoint features vs. a custom-coded SharePoint solution to fulfill business/functional requirements
• Extensive knowledge of SharePoint Technologies (Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Office SharePoint Server 2007, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services, SharePoint Designer, Data View Web Parts, Content Query Web Parts, Content Editor Web Parts, Search, Business Data Catalog, Web Services, Master Pages & branding)
• Experience building workflow applications using SharePoint Designer, Nintex workflow and/or K2 products
• Knowledge of the following 3rd party WebParts desirable o Quest, Lightening Tools, Kwizcom, Telerik, Bamboo
• Capability to extend & enhance the SharePoint platform in one or more of the following ways o using SharePoint API programming skills with Visual studio 2008 o by building custom WebParts, Event Receivers/Handlers, Features, Solution Packages & ACSX Controls o using JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX or Silverlight o modifying CSS
• Some experience of SQL Server, Reporting Services, SharePoint Web Services beneficial
• Existing knowledge and/or a strong desire to learn SharePoint 2010
• An experienced team player, bringing enthusiasm and energy into group efforts.
• Experience with agile development methodology a plus
