Your tasks:
- Successfully manage a global IT project, with primary focus on managing objectives, scope, time, quality, resources, costs, risks and change management for the overall project consisting of two solutions with different timelines; secondary focus on contributing to the deliverables creation (e.g. project documentation) and, depending on the candidate, Business Analysis or Solution Architecture activities.
- Develop project charters, comprehensive plans, budgets, success criteria, metrics, status reporting, communications and other deliverables to ensure all success factors have been considered
- Formulate risk mitigation strategies and recommend solutions
- Demonstrate leadership and communicate in a way that is motivating, optimistic and pragmatic; foster teamwork, collaboration and action
- Cooperate with an offsite transatlantic team virtually
- Work with vendors for all vendor-owned implementation activities who are working remotely offsite
- Partner with others to develop and implement best practices for project management, development life cycle; maintain templates, guidelines and process documentation
- Build strong partnerships and relationships, across the organization and externally, that lead to the highest levels of collaboration and effectiveness
- Ensure compliance to departmental SDLC, Project Management Methodologies and Computer Systems Validation (CSV) SOPs
Your qualifications
- Proven track record as a Senior IT Project Manager in the pharmaceutical industry; experience in Pharma Clinical Operations is an advantage
- Experience in deploying CSV and GxP validated systems to globally distributed stakeholders and end-users is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of formal project management and SDLC (System Development Lifecycle) methodologies, tools and techniques
- Proven experience with a variety of techniques for requirements elicitation, analysis and definition (e.g. functional specifications, business process engineering, data flow diagrams, use case analysis)
- Ability to manage the project across global locations/time zones and to travel internationally (about 10%) as needed
- Experience in managing offshore contract resources
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, as well as presentation and facilitation abilities
