Application Support Analyst - SQL - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Supporter to join a global organisation. The role will involve 1st and 2nd level support line support for a number of internal business critical applications that cover a variety of functions.Your experience / skills:
- 2+ years experience working as an end-user Support Analyst
- Solid experience with troubleshooting and logging files analysis
- Able to evaluate and resolve complex technical problems
- Knowledge in SQL would be a big plus
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as self-starter and quick learner abilities are a must
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, any other languages would be a big plus
Your tasks:
- Providing front-line primary technical support to End Users for a set of products that are business critical
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention
- Respond to, document and resolve service tickets according to internal and external SLA's
- Escalating issues to other IT staff members
- Providing input to development teams for problem prevention
