For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a
SAMI Engineer/support
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Zurich
Challenges:
- This will be a client facing role
- The candidate will need to pivot between support roles and engineering roles they will hold
- Integration of tools into the ecosystem
Skills and Qualifications:
- A place on a team that's on the edge of technological capability
- Tools for semantic reasoning and ontological data normalization (RDF, SPARQL, Tamr)
- A hands-on support role with live client engagements
- Opportunity for client engineering engagements
- Large-scale distributed data analytic platforms and compute environments (Spark, Map/Reduce)
- Room to improve our capabilities in monitoring and technical incident management
- Support (L1-L3) of users through technical issues
- Enterprise-grade Linux Servers requiring configuration around deployment, installation and deployment
- A position with the ability to shape and drive architectural decisions to achieve high value result
- Experience with ElasticSearch
- Strong knowledge of security technologies such as Kerberos and SSL
- Experience with infrastructure including hardware configuration, cooling and performance optimization
