On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist in Austria.You will be responsible for implementing the logistics business in Austria. You will cover fields such as international transportation, local distribution, warehouse management and logistics team management.
The main responsibilities have included:
• Management of customer order processes from order intake to on-time delivery. This includes:
o Handling and checking of all incoming customer orders
o Coordination of delivery schedules and quantities with Client product and translate forecast requirements into delivery agreements with the product lines
o Tracking / Tracing / Monitoring of order and delivery status and resolve upcoming problems and deviations
o Handling of customs and all Import/Export activities
o Close interaction with international logistic departments as well as local logistic partners
• Contribute and support forecast meetings with customers
• Definition, optimization and improvement of local logistic processes
• Manage the 3rd party logsitics company cluding customs clearance,warehouse management,local delivery and so on.
• Collect the documents and make the payment monthly.
• Report to logistics manager.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain
• Fluent language skills in German as well as English
• Applied knowledge of logistic tools and processes as well as Import/ Export and customs regulations for international trade
• Solid and proven experience in the telecommunication industry and working with logistic partners
• Ability to set-up a local logistic team; integrated into the existing global environment
• Used to work in an intercultural environment within an international company
