For our banking client we are currently looking for a

Business Analyst - Credit Risk

Start date: ASAP Duration: 6 months Location: Zurich

Main tasks:

  • Drive and coordinate the delivery of Credit Risk relevant IT and process changes
  • Prepare Business Requirement documents including requirement description and use cases
  • Identify opportunities for IT and process improvements
  • Analyze business processes and recommend new design changes to existing business processes
  • Understand and analyze specific gaps, issues within division with focus on Past Due/Distressed Asset topics in context of IFRS9.
  • Define and document requirements, propose solutions in close collaboration with Swiss based SMEs for the division portfolios (Front and Risk Control).
  • Analyze data and model impact based on proposed changes
  • Liaise with functional Architects and other business analysts to ensure the solutions proposed are fit for purpose
  • Drive and coordinate the delivery of the division Event Monitoring relevant IT and process changes, assist Risk IT in technical design and implementation.
  • Define and execute test cases, support testing participants in investigations and follow up on issues and queries
  • Ensure the IT delivery satisfies the business needs and requirements, and meet the defined acceptance criteria
  • Assure information flow and communication with all involved stakeholders/working group members on status and progress of the deliverables.

The ideal candidate shall bring:

  • 8 + years of experience and strong track record in business analysis
  • Very good quantitative and analytical skills
  • Experience in process management, design
  • Credit Risk or Risk experience
  • Understanding and experience of implementing regulatory projects in a large bank is an advantage

Other important skills:

  • Excellent communication skills to face off to, influence and engage senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, highly organized and able to work in a quickly changing and fast paced environment
  • Good knowledge of IT and banking processes
  • Excellent communication skills in English and fluent German
