Location: Zurich
Duration: initially 6 months with highly possible extensions
Client: an international bank based in Zurich
Project:
The team will centralize management, scope setting and delivery responsibility for the adoption of the strategic NGNI network fabric and Infra Mod platforms, providing industrialized migration services to achieve modernization of our infrastructure at scale. In this specific for CH - Switzerland, they will concentrate on EOL WMRC migrations in 2018.
Key responsibilities:
- Support and execution of infrastructure driven application migrations from our Legacy offerings (Legacy to strategic network, DBaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
- managing database migrations for complex and large scale migrations with the project team, L2 resources and ultimately application owners,
- managing risks and issues and
- managing small project plans,
- supporting the migration weekends
Your profille:
- Manage complex database migrations
- Able to work unsupervised
- Propose, implement systems and support enhancements and process improvements
- Constantly improve business value as well as user experience of the applications
- Work closely with the project team to identify migration strategies
- Majority of PROD related migration work, DRY RUN, DR TEST, LIVE MIGRATION will be happening on Weekends
Your technical skills:
- Oracle RDBMS 10g - 11g, 12c
- Oracle Dataguard
- Oracle RMAN
- Oracle RAC
- Oracle OEM
- a strong Oracle Database migrations experience.
- expertise in the banking environment
