Competitive Intelligence Manager - Switzerland - 3+ monthsOur client, one of the leading Consumer Health companies in the world is currently seeking for a Competitive Intelligence Manager for a 3 month project in Basel, Switzerland scheduled to start mid November 2017.
Responsibilities
- Continuously tracks the competitive landscape. Analyzes and interprets available competitive data in a strategically relevant context. Prepares tailored customer presentations and executive summaries for specific business issues.
- Designs competitive intelligence initiatives and leads competitive workshops with the core brand team, key markets, and cross functional colleagues. Serve as an integrated member of global therapeutic teams.
- Develops competitive intelligence plans and budget, based on critical business questions and hypotheses.
- Serves as internal advisor/ consultant, and partners with Sales, Marketing, Managed Markets, Finance, and Regulatory.
- Supports key intelligence activities guiding strategic exercises such as annual brand planning, launch planning, etc.
Requirements
- 10+ years of overall full-time work experience, of which 6+ years spent in competitive intelligence or primary market research in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector
- Robust experience in competitive intelligence from a leading intelligence agency, market research agency, consulting company, and/or top pharmaceutical / biotechnology companies; Strong analysis and synthesis skills, and ability to draw insights form research and analytics;
- Ability to multitask, working on multiple projects across products
- Passion to develop business insight through team work.
- Record of professional success, demonstrated through above average performance reviews, and promotions;
- Excellent communication skills in English is required, German knowledge would be an added advantage
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
