Senior DevOps / SysAdmin / Site Reliability Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Deploying, supporting, monitoring and troubleshooting large scale micro-service based distributed systems with high transaction volume
- Documenting the IT infrastructure, policies, and procedures
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in technical field of study
- Profound experience in managing and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems
- In-depth experience with JVM, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and/or Mesos
- Experience in setting up, configuring and monitoring Kafka and Zookeeper in production
- Profound experience in operating relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and noSQL (Couchbase, Cassandra) storages
- Excellent knowledge of at least one modern programming language, such as Go, Java, C++, Python and Scala
- Good understanding of network and routing protocols (TCP/IP, DNS and others)
- Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience implementing, operating, and supporting open source tools for network and security monitoring and management on Linux/Unix platforms
- Experience with encryption and cryptography standards
- Kafka, Kubernetes, Cassandra and JVM knowledge is mandatory for this position
