To fill an open position at our prestigious customer, we are looking for an
Administrative Officer 80% (m/f)

Duration: 4 MM++
Place: in Basel-City
Branch: Zentralbanken und Kreditinstitute

Your tasks:
  • Prepare and maintain business area documents and publications and ensure their timely production and correct formatting
  • Prepare and manage contracts for technical advisers, academics and other visitors and handle relevant logistics
  • Maintain business area databases of information/contact details
  • Handle all logistical aspects of management/staff meetings and events, both internal and external
  • Maintain the business areas’ web pages both on the Intranet and external restricted web applications
  • Handle routine office tasks, e.g. mail, calls, internal and external requests, with little supervision
  • Keep colleagues’ and/or line manager’s travel arrangements in order
  • Deal with budgetary matters
  • Provide backup for administrative colleagues in the other business areas
  • Participate, in projects that may be implemented bank-wide or in the business area


Your qualifications
  • A-level, secretarial diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication skills in English - ability to edit texts in English essential
  • Knowledge of German or another major language an advantage
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and e-mail/Internet tools
  • Good organisation and time management skills, accuracy, speed and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with colleagues
  • Readiness to step in at peak periods is essential
