APPLICATION ENGINEER with Siebel certification

Description:
- Analyzing problems (business processes, transactions, data, functions)
- Defining system requirements (functional/qualitative requirements)
- Analyzing the technical and business environment (workplace, target systems and platforms, framework organization)
- Constructing models in terms of data, functions and/or objects
- Designing components and interfaces
- Implementing applications
- Setting up and maintaining environments for developing and testing
- Create and maintain project documentation (test, application, user manual)
- Project Estimating
- Specificating and implementing interfaces
- Developing or choosing the appropriate methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software development
Required Skills:
- 3+ years experience in the design and development of Oracle Siebel (v 7.8) EAI solutions, including direct experience of: Integration Objects, Integration Business Services, Web Services, the EAI Siebel Adaptor, Virtual Business Components, Workflows for Siebel EAI, EIM.
- Direct experience of integrating with JMS and middleware systems such as TIBCO.
- Knowledge of SQL, Siebel Server Environments and Components, Siebel Architecture, Siebel Remote and deployments, co-ordinated Siebel developments (SIF files etc.), Unix and Windows based Siebel Server Environments.
- Knowledge of Siebel Clinical can be a plus
- Knowledge and experience of general interface concepts such as: XML, SOAP Web Services, Message Queues, Load Testing and Capacity Specification, Data Validation.
- 4+ years experience (concurrent or otherwise) in general Siebel development, including: Data Model Extensions, Workflow Process, Workflow Policies, Personalisation and Run-Time Events, Business Services, Business Component and User Interface design.
- Firm commitment to Siebel Development Best Practice.
- Must be Siebel Certified
- English (fluent in both spoken and written)
- International experience in multi-site teams across timezones is a plus
- Work location Basel and/or Warsaw/Poland; individuals in San Francisco, US
