HPC Senior Consultant (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Support on porting users applications to a new infrastructure
- Help users to analyze and optimize their codes for optimal performance
- Assist users in solving problems in their applications
- Share best practices among users to optimize the utilization of various systems
- Focal point for customer application issues and their escalation
- Documentation of changes and optimizations applied to the program
- Knowledge transfer to EPFL personnel
Your qualifications
- M.Sc or Ph.D in Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
- Experience working with high performance systems in sciences
- Demonstrated experience with parallel programming and application analysis
- Excellent knowledge of programming languages – C/C++
- Good working knowledge of MPI, OpenMP
- Working experience with a Distributed Resource Manager (PBS/SLURM/Torque) as a user
- Experience with Linux OS
- Experience in a customer facing role/consulting role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong customer oriented attitude
- French is the preferred onsite language; English is also mandatory
