Senior Software Engineer Connectivity (FIX) For a customer in Zurich we are looking for anSenior Software Engineer Connectivity (FIX)Your responsibilities:Implementing connectivity to both clients and brokersNegotiation with internal and external customersAcceptance and certification testing with our brokers and clientsHandholding clients and their needsClarification of requirements and subsequent impact on development with clients and brokers (internal & external)Managing requirements and prioritiesDesign, implementation and testing of changesAssisting hand-over of releases to test team and operations3rd level support of system relevant componentsAnalysis of software problems in productionBuild up an in-depth understanding of the business processes and technicalities of order routingResponsible for maintenance and implementation of new requirements, capturing software requirements specifications and delivering robust software solutions to tight deadlinesExperience/ Skills:FIX (Financial Information eXchange, must) with experience of industry standard FIX platforms - Bloomberg, RTEx, Trading Screen etc. Java (Server) development in a real time environment, (Python, C/C++)XML, SQL/JDBC, Sybase, JMS/Web Services/MQ, Multi Threading, Unix/Linux, Eclipse, ClearCase/Subversion, Ant/MavenA solid understanding of securities such as Equities, Options, Futures, Fixed Income and similar requiredExperience with developing advanced Java applications, Order routing applications, Trading, Order Routing know-how (front, middle and back-office)SWIFT knowledge is usefulGood interpersonal skillsWritten and spoken English must be of a high standard, good German skills are advantageousIf you are interested in this position please do not hesitate to send us your CV electronically
