Siebel Developer On behalf of our major client in the Pharma industry, Harvey Nash is currently looking for an Application Engineer for a Siebel project in Switzerland. Project description Performing analytical activities and all software development tasks. Incorporating technical and operational requirements into IT solutions.Main Tasks Analyzing problems (business processes, transactions, data, functions) Defining system requirements (functional/qualitative requirements) Defining system requirements (functional/qualitative requirements) Analyzing the technical and business environment (workplace, target systems and platforms, framework organization)li> Constructing models in terms of data, functions and/or objects Designing components and interfaces, batch and real-timeImplementing Siebel applicationsSetting up and maintaining environments for developing and testingCreate and maintain project documentation (test, application, user manual) Developing or choosing the appropriate methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software developmentSpecifying and implementing interfacesSpecial Requirements 3+ years experience in the design and development of Oracle Siebel (v 7.8) EAI solutions Direct experience of Integration Objects, Integration Business Services, Web Services, the EAI Siebel Adaptor, Virtual Business Components, Workflows for Siebel EAI, EIMExperience of general interface concepts such as: XML, SOAP Web Services, Message Queues, Load Testing and Capacity Specification, Data Validation.Firm commitment to Siebel Development Best Practice Experienced with the Siebel Release lifecycle - repository management, including management of environments Must be Siebel Certified International experience in multi-site teams across timezones Project overview Start: ASAP Duration: 6 Months with option to extendLanguage: ENGLISH fluent Work place: Basel and/or Warsaw (tbd)Interested?
