Java Developer - Scala / Big Data / Back-end Development - This is a long term contract opportunity for an Developer to be involved in a major Big Data project.Your experience / skills:
- Excellent programming skills in Java and Scala
- Strong Core / Back-end development experience
- Experience with Big Data projects (Hadoop now-how) would be highly desirable
- Skills in exploratory statistics to relate to data analysts and statisticians
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Interacting with the architecture team to refine requirements
- Cooperating with the project team to implement solutions on the existing Hadoop platform
- Assisting the Platform Engineer to ensure that dependent components are provisioned
