Create and maintain a central repository (on SharePoint) to report on the status and progress of these application cleanup activities
Collect and document information on application containers during this excercise
Manage application container ownership and retirement
Support Application test and deployment services handling application packaging, test and deployment requests
Manage the NIBR application catalogue
Coordinate testing of Lotus Notes Applications prior to mail migration
The role is part of the Application Test and Deployment Service (ATDS) and reports to the respective service manager. ATDS is part of the NIBR Global Client Service Architecture Team.
Key Measures of Success:
Initiate cleanup of 20 application versions within two months
Reduce the number of application versions installed on NIBR ENGINE machines by 50% within six months
Take over 30% of ATDS request handling tasks
Overall accuracy of the NIBR application catalogue
Achieve agreed targets in terms of quality, time and cost.
Experience:
Job related experience of 5+ years with in depth knowledge of applied skills.
In depth knowledge of ENGINE application management
Excellent communication skills in English
Ability to negotiate and document decisions
