Hadoop Administrator/Supporter wanted for our Bellinzona based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Degree in a relevant area, preferably M.Sc. from a top-ranked computer science school
- 10+ years of working experience with Java based enterprise scale applications with 3+ years of troubleshooting and support experience for big data platforms
- 3+ years of experience with Scala, Spark hands-on experience with various Hadoop distributions and ecosystem components (eg HDFS, Sqoop, Impala, Spark, Flume, Kafka)
- Know-how of RESTful, SOAP would be a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Providing support during SIT, UAT and production L3
- Designing complex solutions, developing, and implementing the application as an individual contributor
- Ensuring that the big data platform (Cloudera) is configured appropriated
- Analyzing the business requirements and converting them into detailed design
- Working with big data technologies with complex use cases
- Troubleshooting for individual project rollouts to the platform and supporting demands of Hadoop ecosystem
