A great 12 month contract opportunity exists within the Transport sector for a strong Project/Change/Training Coordinator who will assist with a large program, based in the CBD.This position will assist the delivery of the Transformation and Change stream of a new Operations Centre. This position will provide comprehensive events management and training support throughout the delivery phases. All of the events and activities are targeted at supporting staff impacted by the new Operations Centre.
Additionally, this position will be responsible for establishing operational logistics, administration, planning and set-up for Change, Engagement and Training activities, which include:
1. Planning, scheduling and the administration associated with the running of Change, Engagement and Training events
2. Working with key stakeholders to coordinate and facilitate the attendance of impacted staff at Change, Engagement and Training events
3. Collection, consolidation and reporting feedback and metrics associated with these events.
The role reports to the Transformation and Change Program Manager and will work closely with streams in an operational capacity to ensure the smooth planning, scheduling and attendance of the Change and Engagement activities.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE;
Sound analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written skills and interpersonal skills and ability to apply a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and judgement to meet the needs of business units
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
Demonstrated computer skills including the use of word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
Sound planning, organisational and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to solve problems, work under pressure, manage challenging and competing priorities and meet deadlines in an outcome focused service delivery environment
Experience in working in a Matrix organisation
Experience in working in a fast-paced project environment.
Desirable
Strong interest in and understanding of the passenger rail industry/rail operations or building and construction industry
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience eg. Business Administration or Adult Education.
