Cloud API Developer - Python / Ruby / Go / VMware - with profound knowledge in SDN principles wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Several years of working experience in at least one of the following languages and frameworks: Python (Flask), Ruby (Ruby on Rails), Go, GIT, CI/CD: Bamboo, VMware, NSX, Terraform
- Excellent understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles, APIs, Microservices and related paradigms (e.g. RESTful services)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze issues/problems, identify alternative solutions including consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations
- Solid understanding of the OSI protocol stack and TCP/IP networking
- Solid software development background with deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a plus
Your tasks:
- Supporting the team in implementing a Micro-segmentation (Network segmentation) automation framework for a VMware/NSX based IaaS private cloud
- Translating requirements into solution
- Gathering requirements methodically and systematically as well as designing solutions, documentation and communication
