DWH Business Analyst wanted for our Zurich based client in the finance sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Several years of experience working as a Data Warehouse Business and Data Analyst or similar with deep understanding of the software development life cycle
- Proficiency in working with SQL in relational DB environments and in handling multiple modelling techniques like UML, Kimball, Inmon, etc.
- Very good data visualization skills with Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, Micostrategy, etc.
- Business Domain knowledge in the financial industry (Securities, Payments, Risk) as well as the ability to interpret sets of data, design data marts and apply statistical methods
- Languages: fluent English and German, both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Determining analytical IT business solutions and assisting in implementing them
- Conducting requirements-gathering activities like end user interviews
- Supporting the business partners by describing analytical reporting capabilities
- Evaluating reporting services by using a variety of internal and external data sources
- Identifying people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
