NextLink is having an existing position as a .Net/C# Developer for global projects in Geneva area, Switzerland.
Service characteristics
Title: Net Application Developer, Experience in .NET 2.0 and above, C#, Transact SQL for MS SQL*Server 2005 and above
Location: Geneva
Duration: 150 days
Work Load: 100% full time
Desired start date: Beginning of September
Latest start date possible: Mid September
Developer with experience in Web Development, Web Services, Javascript UI frameworks, C# .NET, Database modelling and MS SQL Server programming experience (5 to 10 years of experience) to develop the ERSD Time Series Database.
Development of the ERSD Time Series Database.
a. Scope
- Design and build the time series database system
- Build a user-friendly and flexible online data retrieval tool for time series selection, data viewing and download into various output formats
- Develop data loading procedures to extract, transform and load (ETL) the data from the pre- processed data stores into the dissemination database. Pre-processing includes the calculation of derived data like shares, growth rates, indexes etc. The data loading procedures will perform simple validations such as consistency checks, overall record count, and record the user making the change.
b. Deliverables
- MS SQL Server database containing the pre-calculated indicators, to facilitate the reporting on several pre-defined dimensions
