For a project at our client, an international insurance company based in Zurich, we are looking for aBusiness Analyst - MI / BI reporting (4522)
The ideal candidate will be responsible to drive the reporting strategy across the end-to-end business process forward.
Your Qualifications:
-Sufficient business analysis experience to plan, conduct and facilitate workshops with experienced business users from different functions
-Communicate effectively through different mediums at all levels
-Experience in MI reporting projects, ideally in the insurance or finance industry
-Ability to work in a dynamic team where activities are based on capabilities, skills and willingness to help each other
-Ability to take ownership of own activities and execute technical or business tasks yourself where needed (document WS results, execute tests) to make the project happen
-Fluent in English
About the role:
-Gather business requirements for internal MI / BI reporting and customer reporting for the business propositions (pooling, captives and ZIPE programs)
-Drive the review of existing reporting capabilities including customer reports
-Translate selected business requirements into a set of MI reporting/report templates and types so that outsourced suppliers can implement the required reports
-Evaluate the suitability of possible reporting tools (Qliksense, Power MS BI) for a specific area including related interfaces with existing and new applications
-Drive and coordinate implementation, define test strategy and perform the SIT tests before the solution is submitted to business users; ensure proper business user testing
-Collaborates with project manager to build Business Case, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope and development of a high level plan
