For our customer, an international chemical company, we are looking for an
Accountant for holding companies (60-100%) (m/f)

Place: in the Basel region
Branch: Herstellung von Farbstoffen und Pigmenten
Your tasks:
- You will be responsible for reconciliation of accounts and bookkeeping of all ten Lux entities in SAP
- Also you will manage intercompany reconciliations between all Lux entities and other non-Lux entities
- The preparation of monthly General Ledger, bookkeeping and reporting for consolidation of all Lux entities is another task of this job
- Also important is to liaise with Treasury regularly to ensure bookkeeping is staying current with Treasury activities
Your qualifications
- You have a degree in Accounting/Finance or recognized accounting qualification
- Knowledge of MS office tools (especially Excel) and strong experience with SAP R3, especially SAP FI is important
- You have strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills to drive changes and implementation of new reporting requirements
- We are looking for someone with proficient English skills, German is a plus
- Also you are comfortable in working with tight schedules and deadlines
