Associate Scientist in experiments with profound laboratory knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- A successfully completed education as a Technician, ideally as a B.Sc. or M.Sc. graduate
- Non-university graduates are required to have a continuing education and a minimum of 4+ years' experience as Technicians in similar positions
- Being aware of procedures for the safe handling of equipment, chemicals and potentially dangerous materials
- Excellent knowledge of laboratory / technical tools along with scientific / technical knowledge in a specific area, such as synthetic, analytical or galenical expertise
- Good presentation skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Performing scientific experiments / pilot plant processes for the preparation and timely delivery of drug substances, drug products, processes and procedures in collaboration with a multifunctional project team coordinated by the Project Leader
- Meeting quality, quantity and timelines in all assigned projects as well as collaborating with other team members to facilitate deliveries
- Designing, performing and documenting scientific experiments / plant activities in collaboration with experienced team members if necessary.
- Proactively seeking support and coaching from the Project Leader / Scientific Expert / other team members during the whole process when necessary
- Working in compliance with SOPs, GMP, GLP, QM, HSE, ISEC guidelines
- Providing raw data documentation, evaluation and results interpretation
- Proposing and providing input for the design of next experiments along with ensuring all own activities are aligned with the overall drug development process
