For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedApplication Supporter - Unix / Linux (4425)
The ideal candidate will be part of a team of HDCS Tools Operations & Support that are responsible for operating and supporting various tools across the global bank. The candidate will work with tools in the software deployment and server build areas.
Your Qualifications:
- + 4 years of demonstrated experience in user/application support in Unix/Linux
- Knowledge of Server Provisioning & Software distribution tools
- Experience in user/application support in Windows environment
- Strong analytical thinking and scripting skills
- A high level of service orientation and willingness to work independently but in a team
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
- Flexibility to provide on-call service
- Fluent in English, German is an asset
About the role:
- Work on incidents in the software deployment and server build areas
- Identify the incident root cause and resolve issues
- Work with internal customers to provide them consulting services over the supported tools
- Work with engineering teams on new tools implementation
- Documentation and maintenance of per-application support procedures
