Role Description:
This is a very interesting role for our banking client to work as a Requirements Engineer in compliance to U.S. regulations IRC section 871(m).
Key Responsibilities:
Role overview:
- Supports business in its duties through IT support and documentation to provide a common understanding between the client who use the application and the IT people who built, test and maintain it now and in the future.
- Develop, manage, estimate dimensions and consolidate information on the requirements of the project's customers, products and product components according to the requirements engineering process.
Key Deliverables:
- Model and document requirements understandable for clients and subsequent roles within IT to ensure that specification of the user's needs are accurate, complete and unambiguous.
- Maintain traceability between requirements and between requirements & requests.
- Identify impact of changes on the existing requirements.
- Provide inputs to a first test strategy for the application.
- Provide inputs to the Project Manager for prioritizing requirements.
- Supports testing phase by giving input, review test strategy and test cases.
Essential Requirements & Qualifications:
- Requirements Engineer/Business Analyst with solid background in finance - advanced knowledge in
financial institutions and financial instruments.
- Requirements Engineering Skills: Should be able to apply different techniques, logical approach to defining business rules.
- Understanding of derivatives and financial instruments e.g Bonds, Shares.
- Good level of German to elicit requirements from Business Users.
- Good English language skills (both written & spoken) since documentation would be in English.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering or a similar certificate.
- FATCA or Background in US regulations.
- UML Modeling skills/experience.
- Agile & Waterfall know-how on eliciting Business Rules, and project management experience (Agile method e.g. Scrum)
- Experience in using tools like JIRA, Polarion, Enterprise Architect 9.x
