Business Analyst - DWH / Data Analysis / SQL skills / Fluent German wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- 10+ years' work experience in a similar / relevant position with profound data warehouse and data analyses knowledge
- Solid knowledge of business analysis and data warehouse modelling techniques (UML, Kimball, InMon)
- Excellent SQL skills in relational DB environments, handling multiple and complex data sources
- Profound stakeholder management skills on a high level
- Good data visualization skills using business intelligence tools (Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, etc.)
- Experience interpreting sets of data, design data marts and apply statistical methods
- Business domain knowledge in the financial industry (Securities, Payments, Risk)
- Languages: fluent German and English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Determining analytical IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
- Conduct requirements-gathering activities like end user interviews
- Supporting our business partners by describing analytical reporting capabilities
- Evaluating reporting services using a variety of internal and external data sources
- Assisting in quality control and project management where applicable
- Identifying people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
