Requirements Engineer, Cash and Security Settlements, Banking, English (Contract, Zurich)
For one of our clients, a worldwide renowned Bank based in Zürich, Swisslinx is currently looking for a Requirements Engineer with experience within Cash and Security Settlements.
We can offer:
- Being responsible for the overall definition and analysis of business requirements and the delivery of functional specifications for the globally shared component of the platform based on business requirements of all global stakeholders and users of this platform
- Develop functional specifications and use cases definitions along business needs and requirements, manage & contribute to user workshops on an international level
- Liaise with the global development team (both onsite and offshore)
- Manage requirements life cycle leveraging the bank's standard tools (JIRA)
- Assist in designing test strategy, test plans and test cases from a functional perspective
- Facilitate resolution of functional questions and issues, ensure alignment and agreement in case of conflicting requirements and priorities
- Understand user needs and advise them on the best way to get these needs met
Your profile:
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration or IT
- Min 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer
- Experience with Agile, ideally within Scaled Agile Framework (Safe) or similar large scale agile models
- Thorough understanding of development process including familiarity with procedural and Object Oriented development models and competent with writing own SQL queries.
- Understanding of cash settlement flows & cash record, security settlement flows and stock record, settlement obligations, payments, trade order management, general ledger/sub ledgers
- Excellent communication skills on all levels (from senior management to staff)
- Fluent in written and spoken English
This is a 6 months contract initially, with a possibility of extension. Start date: ideally ASAP.
