Azure Data Engineer - Spark - vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Designing and building scalable data models using full stack Azure data services
- Developing automated processes for maintaining data pipelines and systems
- Being responsible for the Azure administration and development processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality
Your experience/knowledge:
- 5+ years of working experience in building enterprise big data engineering applications using integration tools like Azure DevOps
- 3+ years of experience in using Spark, preferably in an enterprise environment on Microsoft Azure
- In-depth understanding of reusable software design patterns
- Strong background in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake and Azure Log Analytics
- Practical experience working in agile way and applying DevOps methodologies
Your soft skills:
- Excellent analytical skills to understand complex technology stacks and their dependencies
