IT Cloud Security Consultant

My client, a French company is looking for experienced IT Cloud Security Engineer in the Geneva / Lausanne area. Please find an extensive description of the project tasks and desired profile below:

Your tasks as a IT Cloud Security Consultant
Governance Tasks:

Define or enhance an existing process to integrate new cloud solutions

Ensure its integration into overall governance (including alignment with third party risk management, change management, and IT and cybersecurity risk management)

Improve operational efficiency and process turnaround times throughout the mandate

Standardize cloud risk assessments and their security measures.

Ensure recommendations are implemented and analyses are regularly reviewed.

Day-to-day Tasks:

Periodically train stakeholders and be consulted on the above design

Support new cloud integrations by operating the above process via a

Identification of cloud security risks

Selection of appropriate mitigation measures

Assessment of the effectiveness of safeguards (including review of contractual agreements with vendors and potential on-site audits)

Implementing new protections or improving the robustness of existing protections of previously integrated Cloud Services

Your Profile:

• Higher technical education (university, university of applied sciences) or equivalent
• 5+ years' experience in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of IT cloud and conceptional thinking in this area
• Experience in architecting and developing security solutions on one or more cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP) and applying the cloud native security services
• Ability to document risks, security controls and evidence to ensure compliance
• Excellent analytical skills as well as process-oriented and networked
• English - fluent, French - fluent

• Project start: ASAP
• Project duration: 12 months with option of extension
• Location: Geneva/Lausanne
