Machine Learning Engineer - St Gallen, Switzerland - Temp to Perm

Darwin Recruitment has a new vacancy with one of our clients located in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Our client is looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join a team of ML experts to assist with the research, design and implementation of neural networks and vision algorithms. You will be working on algorithms to help advance the state of the art in image and point cloud processing using lidar and image data.

General Information:

Start date: March / April 2023
Location: St Gallen, Switzerland
Duration: 12 Months (extension or internalisation likely)
Hourly Rate: CHF 85-105
Remote working: This is flexible but ideally onsite 3 days per week

This Appeals to you:

• You enjoy developing end-to-end machine learning pipelines for 3D vision tasks
• Can conduct feasibility studies to develop and analyse new and innovative algorithms for complex problem statements
• Collaborate easy with other ML experts and stakeholders

This is you:

• 3+ years' experience using Python, Pytorch or TensorFlow
• Have a deep understand and knowledge in deep learning techniques and architecture
• Previous experience training and evaluating neural networks from date ingestion to model deployment
• A strong computer vision background and domain experience in object detection, semantic and Instance segmentation, and 3D reconstruction
• A university degree in computer science, mathematics or engineering with a focus on machine learning (Masters/PH.D)
