Description: Background:
In the area of warehousing, logistics and packaging, there are state-of-the-art packaging systems, systems for delivery control (Track & Trace), systems for fully electronic production documentation as well as systems for highly automated warehouse management and material flow control to use.
For the area of highly automated warehouse and logistics processes based on SAP EWM, we are looking someone who will ensure the operational operation of the systems in application support and actively promote the further development of existing system solutions and platforms based on SAP EWM.
The perfect candidate:
The perfect candidate has a technical background with experience in manufacturing/logistics with SAP EWM knowledge. The person is extroverted, has very good communication skills, is resilient as well as analytical and detail oriented.
Tasks & responsibilities:
First level support and ensuring the availability of the application (SAP EWM Warehouse Management)
Ensuring the availability and functionality of the application/processes as an interface between the operational areas and the technical service providers
Incident management in first level support (hotline) with coordination of incident processing between the relevant stakeholders (business process owner, customers, IT, QA, Software suppliers, hardware suppliers, etc.)
Monitoring of recurring incidents and initiation of countermeasures (problem management)
Monitoring/control/monitoring of system-relevant processes and procedures
Communication with users via telephone, chat, e-mail as part of incident and problem management
Request management with the tasks of a business analyst to coordinate change requests with the operational areas and relevant specialist groups
Create, update and implement technical User training
Maintenance of the knowledge database (eg operating or installation instructions, etc.)
Support in carrying out system validation
Must haves:
Higher technical diploma/certificate or studies in logistics or an IT area (eg logistics master or computer science)
Min. 1-3 years hands-on work experience in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
Min. 2 years of work experience in first level support in a technical environment with applications (eg hotline)
Good experience in (pharmaceutical) logistics and/or IT environment
Fluent German language skills and good English skills (min. B2 Level)
Quick comprehension of issues in a technically complex environment
Nice to haves:
Experience in the regulated (GMP) environment is an advantage
