Embedded C++ Software Engineer - 11+ Month Contract - St Gallen, SwitzerlandDarwin Recruitment has a new vacancy at one of our clients located in St. Gallen, Switzerland where we are looking to hire a temporary external consultant as soon as possible.
Conditions:
- Start date: March 2023
- Contract End date: 11 months from start
- Extension: Following good performance extension is likely
- Location: Onsite in St Gallen around 4 days per week / 1 day from home office
- Hourly rate: Between CHF 85-105
This appeals to you:
- You develop outstanding embedded software solutions using C++ on latest generation sensor products (embedded Linux, Windows)
- You take part in defining the software design, implementation and testing of software components for a distributed system until the product launch
- Integrate various sensors (angle/IMU/camera) and communication peripherals (I2C/USB/Bluetooth) with focus on performance, latency, stability and accuracy
- Development of embedded multi-threaded applications using modern C++ based on embedded Linux or Zephyr
- Ensure the product quality by writing software on high standards, following Clean-Code principles and automated tests
This is you:
- Senior Embedded Software Engineer (>3 years relevant experience)
- Modern C++ (C++11, 14). My client use up to C++20 so this is a nice to have!
- English speaking. German is nice to have!
- Experience in Agile environment
