Cloud Engineer vacancy requiring profound Azure and Kubernetes knowledge for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
- Managing the company's SaaS third-party Tagetik application as well as the Kubernetes cluster and the Azure subscription
- Participating in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, and high availability in the Cloud
- Working closely with the development teams to understand their needs and code infrastructure deployments in terraform
- Researching new technologies and prototyping new ideas
- Contributing to a continual improvement in areas such as increasing automation, better observability and removal of technical debt
- Providing third level support during critical periods
Your experience/knowledge:
- Good general understanding of networking, computing and security concepts relevant to the public cloud
- Background work in engineering solutions with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with at least one RDBMS as well as with writing terraform
- Excellent skills with a Scripting language like Powershell or Bash
- Good working knowledge of git
- Degree in applied science, engineering, computer science or equivalent applied professional experience
