Role: Senior Systems Engineer- Microsoft Server and Exchange EngineerDuration: 12months + Extension
Location: Basel, Switzerland
Our client is currently looking for an enthusiastic, proactive candidate to work as a member of a
team of senior engineers and architects. As part of this team, primary responsibilities will include the
implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise-class software and services in a hybrid
cloud enterprise.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Supporting the Bank in implementing, maintaining, and operating various Microsoft Infrastructure
technologies. To be responsible contributing to the definition and delivery of services to support
various automation and transformation projects across a diverse technology stack, with a focus on
Microsoft products:
- Implement, support, and maintain core Windows Server infrastructure services including
but not limited to security hardening, automated deployment, patching, lifecycle
management.
- Implement, support, and maintain a Microsoft Exchange 2019 and Exchange Online (EXO)
Hybrid environment.
- Implement and maintain other core infrastructure services as required.
- Practice Agile and DevOps practices within Infrastructure and Operations.
Must haves:
- Requires deep knowledge in building, configuring, and maintaining Microsoft based
solutions, including: (*****)
- Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022)
- Microsoft Exchange Server (2019)
- Microsoft Exchange Online (EXO)
- Directory Services (ADDS and AAD)
- Active Directory and GPOs
- Azure Directory Sync and Health services
- Requires deep knowledge in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python). (*****)
- Requires knowledge automating common tasks using Ansible Playbooks, Microsoft
Windows, ServiceNow, VMWare. (*****)
- Requires knowledge of Windows and Azure security features, and experience in operating
system hardening (CIS, NIST, Microsoft Purview) (*****)
