Security Consultant / Engineer - Policies / NIST / CSF / CIS / OWASP vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Providing expert advice and operational experience on information security risk and control matters throughout the organisation
- Assisting with application security program and supporting software developers in embedding security into the development lifecycle
- Supporting the maturing of the penetration testing strategy and supporting in scoping and engagement with third parties
- Reviewing and advising on the security measures, protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the company's assets and critical services
- Performing risk assessments and contributing to reviews of the assessment methodology
- Contributing to the implementation of industry-recognised key critical controls and contributing to corporate security compliance mandate
Your experience/knowledge:
- Experience with documenting and communicating results which may be consumed by both developers and management-level audiences
- Proficiency with industry-recognised frameworks and controls like NIST CSF, CIS, OWASP, SANS and other along with expertise in implementing these frameworks
- Strong know-how of security in operating system, application security, penetration testing and cloud technology
- Certification in security-related disciplines and technologies like CISSP or CRISC is advantageous
- Experience with security-policy, standard creation or risk management processes
- Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, German conversational
