Cloud Automation Engineer (12 months contract + extention)Geneva, Switzerland
My client is looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer who is ready to take up a new challenge in an exciting and innovative work environment.
The role:
- Cloud Automation Engineer
- Responsibilities as part of the team include the implementing, maintaining, and support of enterprise- class software and services
- Focus on Azure and Infrastructure as Code (IoC).
- Work with transformative initiatives collaborating with various business units, IT, and security teams.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the client in implementing enterprise infrastructure solutions in the public cloud, using SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS services.
- Apply Agile and DevOps practices within Infrastructure and Operations.
- Develop and deploy scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable services on the Cloud using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
- Implement and maintain core Azure infrastructure services including but not limited to virtual networks, storage, compute services, DNS, VPN, firewall.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years hands on experience in implementing Azure infrastructure for enterprise customers.
- Experience with Infrastructure and Configuration as Code using relevant tools and techniques (Terraform).
- Knowledge and experience with several core Azure infrastructure - Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
- Experience with Scrum / Agile methodologies.
- Very good command of French and of one of the other working languages would be an advantage (German, Italian, Spanish).
