Test Automation Engineer - REST, Cucumber, Junit, ZurichSource Technology are partnered with a leading financial company in Zurich. Currently they are hiring for a freelance Test Automation Engineer to support them. Starting in August until the end of February 2023 with the option to extend.
Role
- Work alongside the development team to carry out in-sprint testing
- Work alongside various test teams both to ensure quality at various testing stages (System and System Integration Testing)
- Designing Test Scenarios using Gherkin and get them validated with the PO/BA
- Automate the test scenarios designed: API or UI
- Define, create and maintain the test data needed for testing
- Support the PO/BA during User Acceptance Testing phase
Requirements
- Experience in automating REST (GQL a bonus)
- Excellent Know-how of Testing frameworks - Cucumber, Robot, Junit test framework
- Experience in developing custom frameworks
- Knowledge with Java, Kotlin, GraphQL, REST a bonus
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes , Openshift a bonus
- English speaking (German a bonus)
