Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Configure and document requirements to the application
- Test the application including the creation of test plans, test cases & reports
- Organize the User Acceptance Testing related to changes
- Provide support in preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
- Investigate technical incidents and ensure 3rd level maintenance support in cooperation with the maintenance and engineering teams as well as with customers
- Provide support on Airspace maps maintenance
- Implementation of changes according to the requests by air traffic controllers
- Establish and maintain relations with internal and external stakeholders
Main qualifications
- Engineering degree ETH/FH or a strong ATM background, with relevant IT knowledge
- Strong analytical and high organizational skills
- Ability to quickly understand business needs and to take initiatives and decisions
- Sound experience in requirements engineering and testing
- Practical experience in test automation a strong plus
- Team spirit with strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Professional experience in an agile or scaled agile environment preferrable
- Practical knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and Polarion (ALM tool) are a strong plus
- Experience in Air Traffic Management (ATM) or similar domain a plus
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written) required, German and/or French is an asset
- Stress resistant
- Willingness to travel occasionally to branch offices (Switzerland)
