Workplace Engineer

To strengthen our experienced and motivated team, we are looking for a workplace engineer with immediate effect or by appointment. In this role you are jointly responsible for exciting and demanding projects and are involved from consulting to implementation.

Do you have a few years of experience in the client environment, are you familiar with new technologies (M365, Azure, Endpoint Manager) and would you like to constantly optimize the workplace solution of our employees? We look forward to your complete application.

Your tasks
  • Engineering in the areas of Microsoft client infrastructure and digital workplace as well as co-decision in the end-to-end architecture
  • Support and participation in the development of the new Digital Workplace concept (M365 & Azure AD)
  • Defining and developing software packaging and automation
  • Elaboration and further development of the desired self-service solutions
  • Troubleshooting as part of the incident and problem management process as well as coordination and implementation of change requests
  • Introduction of new concepts, ideas, and tools
  • Clarifying, documenting, and eliminating exceptional situations
  • Maintaining the existing inventory and securing the relevant documentation


Your profile
  • Completed training as a computer scientist (HF, FH) or comparable further training as well as 5+ years of professional experience as a workplace engineer, ideally in an enterprise environment
  • Willingness to take on responsibility in the Windows Client Workspace
  • Experience with Windows deployment process, Endpoint Manager/Intune, and Autopilot as well as with agile processes and tools (Service Now, Jira, Confluence).
  • Expertise and experience in VMWare Horizon environments and virtualization are an advantage
  • Very good hardware knowledge and experience in telephony integration and the common collaboration tools
  • Very good communication skills towards internal and external bodies as well as very high customer and service orientation
  • Fluent knowledge of German and good knowledge of English are required
